Blue Bayou Advance Dining Reservations Now Available!
We have exciting news to share – advance dining reservations for Disneyland's Blue Bayou are now available!
Blue Bayou, also known as the restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean, reopened in early June.

The restaurant had closed in late March for about six weeks for a refurbishment.
This coincided with Pirates of the Caribbean closing for refurbishment. Pirates reopens on July 1.

Join Walk-Up List
When the Blue Bayou reopened, it was only accepting diners who joined the walk-up waitlist in the app.
To find the walk up waitlist on the Disneyland app, search for Blue Bayou, then you'll see "Join Walk-Up List" at the top of the screen.
You have to be near the restaurant to join the waitlist. I tried from my house in New Jersey and it didn't work.
You probably need to be in Disneyland Park in order to join the waitlist. I don't think you have to be in New Orleans Square proper to join.
Blue Bayou reservations now accepted!
Now the Disneyland app and website are offering advance dining reservations for the Blue Bayou!
I've been able to see reservations for a party of two as early as tomorrow, Saturday, June 25, 2022.
I was able to secure a reservation for Blue Bayou for a client on July 17 – Disneyland's 67th birthday!
Pirates of the Caribbean reopens on July 1, so my lucky client will get to see the boats gliding past as she dines.
Why eat at Blue Bayou?
The Blue Bayou restaurant is located in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park.

I love the description of the Blue Bayou atmosphere from the Disneyland website:
"Step into perpetual twilight as the nighttime ambiance of the watery setting surrounds you. Spot Guests embarking on a Pirates of the Caribbean adventure, as you enjoy an authentic New Orleans-inspired lunch or dinner. It's a truly unique setting where the bayou is, literally, by you!"

The food at the Blue Bayou is truly delicious. Some of my favorites from the menu include:
- Chicken gumbo
- Blue Bayou salad
- Chicken jambalaya
- Monte Cristo sandwich
- Hurricane cocktail (ok, I haven't had this yet but it looks yummy and is inspired by the iconic New Orleans cocktail!)
